I like to let organic
things devolve over days. As this strawberry sat in a small pool of water
in the bottom of a shallow bowl, it just got more and more interesting
to me. My girlfriend didn't enjoy this inspirational period of kitchen
shooting as much as I did. After a few panicked admonitions from me of,
“Don't touch that!!!” she took to asking before she ever picked
up a sponge in the kitchen, “Can I clean this, or is it 'art'?”
