Backboard

This field next to a busy set of apartment buildings has always fascinated me. I photographed there a lot over the course of a year since this same field also contained the improbable Pod image (photograph in stairwell). The exposures were anywhere from four to forty minutes by various streetlights nearby. Often I would stand by the camera watching the scene as the camera saw it for long stretches of time. One particular night I was so still that a pair of foxes came out from the trees and patrolled the border.
