Four AM Tulips

I am fortunate to live in a neighborhood with lots of both avid and casual gardeners. When I began shooting almost exclusively at night with large-format bellows cameras, my initial inspiration came from my kind neighbors’ garden landscapes. After a while, they grew accustomed to my being out in their shrubs at night and into the wee hours, my tiny bike light pointed at a promising scene.
